I spend time working on problems at the intersection of AI Research and Engineering. I enjoy understanding why systems work the way they do and learning how to make them go fast. I find reinforcement learning and models that reason to be particularly interesting.
I work as a Machine Learning Engineer in San Francisco at Sieve where I spend time building and optimizing powerful AI-powered pipelines for video.
Previously, I spent time working in high-frequency trading as a developer. Before that, I was pursuing a PhD in computer science and dropped out.
In my free time I enjoy working on side projects, learning new things, playing chess and poker, and meeting interesting people.
